One of the most important lessons you can ever learn to interpret the Bible, is the importance of context. Context provides the framework for interpretation. There are many different views of context that come into play with interpreting Scripture. We not only have the immediate context of the literary work there were dealing with, but also the cultural context, the historical context, and the spiritual context.
