When we examine Islam’s view of Jesus Christ we see that they believe he is just a prophet.  They do not believe he is God.  They do believe that Jesus Christ did miracles, was virgin born and even had a supernatural death  (in a way).  They do not believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross.  In Islam, no prophet would be able to die such a death. So they believe that Jesus was not on the cross but a look-alike was.
