Apologetics Live 11/08/2018
Women in ministry was the opening topic:  Some very helpful references to learn more about Women in Ministry is on the CARM website: http://carm.org/women-in-ministry
The chat moved toward “TAG”:  Study the “The Transcendental Argument for the existence of God” at https://carm.org/transcendental-argument
As it relates to the “TAG” issue, see: “The Christian Worldview, the Atheist Worldview, and Logic” https://carm.org/christian-worldview-atheist-worldview-and-logic
Brief mention was made of: THE INFLUENCE:   A novel of fiction by Matt Slick detailing the spiritual battle of a man who is helped by an angel.  But in order to learn the answers and prevail, he must face his greatest test. Truth is sometimes challenging. Get your copy of “THE INFLUENCE “at: Amazon and B&N
“Red Pill Christians” were mentioned and seems to be a questionable group at first glance.  However further examination will be necessary to determine an accurate evaluation.
A review of the frequent topic of Free Will was discussed.
Great information on this topic in these two articles: “What is free will?” https://carm.org/what-is-free-will  and: “What is compatibilist free will?” https://carm.org/questions-compatibilist-free-will
Free Will connected in relationship to Inspiration was examined:  Dictionary of Theology › Inspiration https://carm.org/dictionary-inspiration

There was a great deal of chat in regards to Monotheism and verses of Scripture which may need to be examined carefully.
How many Gods are there, one or many? https://carm.org/how-many-gods-are-th…
Psalm 82 is what's called an imprecatory Psalm.  In other words, it is a Psalm of condemnation and judgment against the unrighteous.
Psalm 82:6 is given a better look at: https://carm.org/psalm826-mormon-jehovahs-witness
See more about this in the article: “Why should I only believe in one God? By Luke Wayne” https://carm.org/why-should-i-only-believe-in-one-god
The conversation naturally progressed to understanding of the claim of Deity as made by Jesus and the rejection to the claim by some at the time.
Study this further at “John 10:30-33, What made the Jews want to kill Jesus?

John 8:58 and John 10:30 are examined at that link: https://carm.org/john-1030-33-what-made-jews-want-kill-jesus

A chat participant who would not come on the microphone and who identified themselves as “Most Holy Family Monastery” failed to take up the various and repeated invitations to participate in audio.
The brothers Peter and Michael Dimond are most popularly identified in connection to the Most Holy Family Monastery and are not “Roman Catholic” in the conventional sense.
They are sedevacantist. It is the position held by a small portion of traditional Catholics who claim that the Papal Seat, the Holy See, has been vacant since around 1960.
Modern Roman Catholics sometimes view Sedevacantism as an altered style of a “Protestant” denomination. See more at: “What is sedevacantism?  https://carm.org/questions-sedevacantism
Moving on from the shallow venture into Roman Catholicism, some Marriage issues were discussed in generalities.
The chat was then guided back to the topic of Roman Catholicism as a chat participant (Another “text only” with no audio participation) attempted to promote and defend some of the more common Roman Catholic teachings and doctrines.
