Call to Prayer for the Nation's Repentance

Call to prayer for the Nation’s repentance from Leftist ideology and hatred.

Call to Prayer

In light of recent events, I believe it is proper to ask this church to pray for the nation and ask for its repentance. Many of us have noticed that people, especially Leftist terrorists in the United States have become more divisive and hateful towards their fellow Americans. Over the past few years, we have had several church shootings, school shootings, Christian school shootings, and political shootings by trans identified individuals and trans activists. We live in a culture of hate: hatred for what is good, hatred towards God and His Word, and hatred against what is true.

Repentance from Leftist Ideology

Pray for Iryna Zarutska’s Family

Hatred has taken the lives of people trying to be decent citizens, like Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska. She was killed for the Leftist sin of being white on a train. Often, Leftists call out for the death of white people because they call them oppressors. They are Marxists who want the abolition of the individual, freedom of religion, and the freedom of speech.

Pray for Charlie Kirk’s Family

More recently, Christian and free speech advocate, Charlie Kirk was taken from this world September 10th, 2025. Mr. Kirk went to college campuses to have open dialogue with students. Discussions would range from the sanctity of life to why Christianity is true. One Satanist asked him why he believed the Bible is true. Kirk said, “I could give the technical answer. There has never been an archeological discovery that has disproved the truth of the Bible. And then of course, the wisdom of the truth of the Bible that if you apply to your life improves dramatically. It is the most accurate and historically robust account that one can have of the most important figure to ever live in the history of the World, Jesus of Nazareth and the resurrection is the pinpoint of my belief. That Jesus did rise from the grave so that we may live.”

For his belief in Christ and applying biblical truth to all areas of life, including politics, Leftist, trans supporting, antifa agent shot him in the neck at a rally in front of his wife and two children, a three-year-old girl and his one-year-old son. Now his children will never know their father. He will never see them grow up, graduate from school, or walk his daughter down the aisle. Instead of mourning His family’s loss, MSNBC, CNN, NBC says he got what he deserved for spreading hatred and division. Leftists around the world are celebrating his death, calling him a racist, and a Christian Nationalist. They are slandering this good man’s name because he got in the way of their satanic agenda.

Prayer for the Nation’s Salvation

Therefore, I ask the church to pray for comfort for the families devastated by this Leftist agenda that seeks to erase God, the family, and you. Christians do not engage in violence. We leave all vengeance to the Lord. We celebrate the martyrs faithfulness for Christ, and we mourn over the destination of the souls who are on their way to Hell for rejecting God and His messengers. We should pray for their repentance and the repentance of the rest of this nation so it will not go to Hell in a handbasket.

Praying for God’s Will

Dear Lord,

You say that precious in Your sight is the death of Your saints. When we are killed, we do not die, but we get to be in Your presence in the arms of our Savior. You promise to make all things right when Christ comes back and no sin will go unpunished. You also ask us to pray for our enemies and for those who persecute us. So, we pray for their repentance, the repentance of the shooter, and the repentance of the nation. We do not want these people to go to Hell, we want their repentance, so we can join arms with them in Heaven. May Your glory be done here on earth as it is in Heaven. Let there be a revival in this nation as opposed to more violence and hate. Do Your will in all of it. It’s in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
